A Client's Successful Incubation Journey

 
Eupath helped the leading provider of property management systems and solutions to multi-family apartment industry incubate their office. The company in US was not able to find key development and support resources to support the rapid growth. Their previous experience with offshoring using 3rd party vendors had failed. The management was skeptical and risk-averse. They would not commit scale. They wanted to maintain tight control on quality of people and work. They wanted to develop key resources by training them on industry issue and permeate a company-specific culture of quality and growth to all employees. The cost of turnover and employee retraining was high.
 
Client used Eupath's Incubate and Scale model to mitigate scale and will-it-work skepticism. They incubated their initial team of 27 employees. By executing pilot projects they were able to demonstrate quick and measurable success. Due to this success, the client decided to set up their own larger office with Eupath's help. The initial offshored activities were application development and support. However, later activities also included customer support, back-office accounting, HR, recruiting and other activities across multiple functions. Eupath managed the offshore incubation center and now manages the new captive center. Eupath is responsible for budgeting, recruiting, HR, facilities, IT and day-to-day administration.

The CEO and senior management of this support solutions company found themselves at a strategic crossroads few years ago. The company had continued to provide its customer base with outstanding service and support, but they needed to lower cost. The CEO and his team wanted to explore how it could leverage India to maintain and bolster its competitiveness and continue providing world class services to its clients in the life sciences industry.
 
The client engaged Eupath and used its services to set-up their office in India. The office started operations within 16 weeks and today is the company's largest office worldwide. The company has started another Eastern European office and applied the learning from the India office set-up experience to successfully execute that project.
